How do I get to The Lodge?

The Lodge at Ashford Castle is located on the estate of Ashford Castle, which is just on the outskirts of the charming village of Cong, Co. Mayo. We can arrange a transfer from Shannon or Knock International Airport with one of our friendly transport partners. Click here for directions to the hotel.

Can I bring my pet with me?

Pets are welcome at The Lodge by prior arrangement. Please note pets are not permitted in the Restaurant or Bar but are most welcome on our extensive front terrace. Though a deposit is requested upon arrival in case of any damage caused, this will be returned to you at the end of your stay. The actual cost per night is €10.00 per pet. Do all rooms have internet access?

Yes. The hotel and guest rooms feature a complimentary wireless high speed Internet connection. When must I check out of the room? On the day of your departure, please vacate your room by 12.00pm. Please notify reception regarding a later check-out time if you require it and we would be more than happy to arrange if the hotel availability allows.

Can I visit Ashford Castle if I am staying at The Lodge at Ashford Castle?

Ashford Castle grounds, gardens and activities are open to all guests of The Lodge. Visiting the Castle and use of its facilities is exclusive to the residents of the Castle only. Dining at the Castle is restricted and subject to availability; reservations must be booked in advance.

Do I have access to all estate activities whilst staying in The Lodge at Ashford Castle?

Yes, all outdoor activities on the Estate of Ashford are for the use of the guests of The Lodge at Ashford Castle. Some of our website packages include these outdoor activities.
