The new Picnic Afternoon Tea menu at The Lodge is a treasure trove of tempting treats, made using the finest ingredients sourced from our estate or local artisan suppliers. The savoury basket includes Kelly’s of Newport lamb sausage roll, Andarl Farm pork pie with apple jelly and Burren Smoke House Salmon with Dillisk Cream Cheese. Wonderful salads include red cabbage and fennel slaw, Kilmaine potato salad and organic leaves with a honey and mustard dressing.
Free range Crème Brûlée, tiramisu espresso and Bea Tollman’s famous cheesecake will satisfy those will a sweet tooth, and a cool and refreshing ginger beer or iced tea provide the perfect accompaniment alongside a selection of hot tea. For added sparkle, why not add a glass of Champagne?
